BREAKING THE SILENCE: Anti-Palestinian Racism and Islamophobia!

During this event we will discuss the relation between Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism, along with the root causes and how to tackle these. Under the moderation of our host Rehan Siddiqui, our speakers will draw on a wide range of academic and professional expertise in the field to leave us not just with questions, but also answers and solutions.

The speakers of the panel are Sai Englert (Lecturer Area Studies at Leiden University), Rahma Bavelaar (President and researcher of Meld Islamofobie), Altaf Husain (Associate professor of the school of social work at Howard University), Amina Hassan Sheikh Ali (from Collectief Jonge Moslims) and Zakaria Bouzeya (from Muslim Rights Watch Nederland).
