 Ben jij sociaal, communicatief sterk en wil je de externe relaties van MSV Nijmegen uitbreiden? Dan is deze functie iets voor jou! Ervaring is een pré maar NIET vereist.

 

Are you social, communicatively strong, and do you want to expand the external relations of MSV Nijmegen? Then this position is for you! Experience is a plus but NOT required.

Wat houdt een bestuursjaar in en wat bieden wij?

Als bestuurslid ben je de leider van de moslimgemeenschap op de campus van de RU en HAN. Je draagt actief bij aan de verbinding, ontwikkeling en groei van de moslimgemeenschap op de campus. Je vertegenwoordigt de belangen van moslims, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van gebedsfaciliteiten. Een nieuw bestuur is essentieel om de belangen en de kracht van de moslimgemeenschap te waarborgen. Daarnaast biedt een bestuursjaar je het volgende:

  • Insha’Allah verdien je veel hasanaat voor het bouwen van de gemeenschap.
  • Professionele ervaring in een islamitische ervaring die een sterke toevoeging is aan je CV.
  • Je bouwt een krachtig netwerk op, zowel lokaal als landelijk, met diverse islamitische organisaties.
  • Mogelijk een (kleine) financiële vergoeding voor je inzet.
  • Een betekenisvolle extracurriculaire activiteit op je CV die te combineren is met je studie.

 

Wat zijn jouw taken als commissaris extern?

✔ Onderhouden en uitbreiden van externe contacten
✔ Beoordelen en aangaan van samenwerkingsmogelijkheden
✔ Organiseren van Meet MSV en Hutspot & Couscous
✔ Proactief netwerken en kansen creëren

 

Wie zoeken wij?

✔ Beschikbaar gemiddeld 8-10 uur per week (soms meer, soms minder)
✔ Sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden
✔ Netwerkgericht en proactief
✔ Vermogen om samenwerkingen te beoordelen en  te ontwikkelen 

Hoe verloopt solliciteren?

  1. Je stuurt je CV en motivatiebrief uiterlijk vóór zondag 24 mei 23:59 naar info@msvnijmegen.nl. 
  2. Je wordt uitgenodigd voor een kennismakingsgesprek waarin we je sollicitatie bespreken.
  3. We gaan in wederzijds gesprek of de rol bij je past, hoe je het goed kan combineren met je studie.
  4. Na ongeveer twee weken ontvang je ons besluit en advies.

What does a board year involve and what do we offer? 

As a board member, you are the leader of the Muslim community on the campus of RU and HAN. You actively contribute to the connection, development, and growth of the Muslim community on campus. You represent the interests of Muslims, for example regarding prayer facilities. A new board is essential to safeguard the interests and strength of the Muslim community. Additionally, a board year offers you the following:

  • Insha’Allah, you earn many hasanaat for building the community
  • Professional experience in an Islamic environment that is a strong addition to your CV
  • You build a strong network, both locally and nationally, with various Islamic organizations
  • Possibly a (small) financial compensation for your efforts
  • A meaningful extracurricular activity on your CV that can be combined with your studies

 

What are your responsibilities as external commissioner?

✔ Maintaining and expanding external contacts
✔ Assessing and establishing collaboration opportunities
✔ Organizing Meet MSV and Hutspot & Couscous
✔ Proactively networking and creating opportunities

 

Who are we looking for?

✔ Available on average 8–10 hours per week (sometimes more, sometimes less)
✔ Strong communication and social skills
✔ Network-oriented and proactive
✔ Ability to assess and develop collaborations

What does the application process look like?

  1. You send your CV and motivation letter no later than Sunday, May 24 at 23:59 to info@msvnijmegen.nl. 
  2. You will be invited for an introductory interview where we discuss your application.
  3. We will have an open conversation together about whether the role suits you and how you can combine it well with your studies.
  4. After approximately two weeks, you will receive our decision and advice.
